  1.  1989-1992. Assistant professor, senior lecture at the department of Lung Medicine, University hospital of Umeå.

  2.  From july 1992-2002 Professor, Chairman of the department of Lung medicine, University of Trondheim, Norway

  3.  Since June 2002 Professor at the dept of Respiratory Medicine and Allergology, University hospital of Lund, Sweden.

  • Military training as reserve officer (Captain) including several courses in lecturing and leadarship.

  • Paralell with the medical studies, part time amanuensis involved in the education of medical studies since 1978.
